Mário works at Mundo Magazine as a food critic and lives at war with his editor-in-chief, Diana (Camila Pitanga), a confident woman, apparently immune to her co-worker's charm. The journalist has a younger brother, Sal (Marcelo Faria), who owns a charming bar in Rio de Janeiro. He is married to Manuela (Renata Castro), a sarcastic and good-natured woman. Sal, Manuela and the openly gay Beto (Aloísio de Abreu) are Mário's inseparable companions and try to help him find the right woman.
