As emcees of a fictitious variety programme, Matsuoka Mayu and Ito Sairi interview people with fixations in everyday life to find out what is difficult for others to understand, but makes the person happy.
Hosted by Hiroshi Sekiguchi and Yuji Miyake, the show introduces two delectable dishes each week for the celebrity guests to judge. The dishes are similar but different, such as “Yakitori (grilled chicken speared on sticks) vs. Karaage (deep-fried chicken).” The dishes are made by top class chefs, using the best hand-picked ingredients. The guest judges choose which dish they’d like to eat. The team with the majority wins and only the judges who selected the chosen dish get to eat the meal. The losing team can only watch the winners eating, while they go home with their stomachs empty.
It is 1853. Atsuko, adopted daughter of Shimazu Nariakira of the Satsuma clan and known to history as “Atsu-hime”, is en route by palanquin from her home to the castle of the Shogun in distant Edo. Hello Pro Hour (ハロプロアワー) was an online-only Hello! Project show. The show featured Hello! Project members with an interview and a song performance. The shows first broadcast was on March 3, 2006 and the show ended on November 24, 2006 after about 8 months.
Legend has it that if a bride wears a dress made by Madam Mari on her wedding day, she will find true happiness. Young advertising executive Reiko is engaged to marry one of her coworkers, and seeks out the legendary dressmaker to commission her dress. But her meeting with Madam Mari doesn't turn out to as she expected, and her world is turned upside down. Before long she finds herself working as Mari's assistant.
The movie takes place entirely in and around the Mini Moni Cafè. The Mini Moni Cafè is run by the first generation members of Mini Moni, who are lead by Mari Yaguchi. Mika Todd is the primary baker for the cafè and Ai Kago and Nozomi Tsuji are bumbling waitresses. One day Kago and Tsuji serve a particularly enthusiastic customer (played by Ai Takahashi) who says she has never had such a delicious cake before. When the waitress explain they do not know the secret ingredient that makes the cakes so good, Takahashi decides to sneak into the cafè later find out what it is and steal it.
