Ravi Krishna is an Indian actor. The son of noted producer A. M. Rathnam, he came to prominence with his starring role in 7G Rainbow Colony (2004), for which he won the Filmfare South Award for Best Male Debut. This was followed by a series of commercial and critical failures, after which he played a major role in Aaranya Kaandam (2011). The film, regarded as the first neo-noir film in Tamil cinema, was his last release; Krishna took a 13-year hiatus from acting, before returning to work on the sequel to 7G Rainbow Colony in 2024.
