Ananthakrishnan (Suresh Gopi) is a budding journalist with a Kerala based newspaper. He does a story on the famous dancer Gayathri Devi (Madhavi) which brings him accolades. After a while, Anathakrishnan meets Gayathri Devi by coincidence in a hotel and she tells him about some striking scandals regarding the powerful state home minister Valappad Balakrishnan (NF Varghese). Gayathri Devi is suddenly killed under suspicious circumstances and Ananthapkrishnan is swept into her dangerous world.
Two brothers live in harmony until the younger brother's wife creates misunderstandings between the brothers.
Raj Anand is a Bollywood movie director and lives a wealthy lifestyle with his wife, Padmini, and only son, Varun. He is respected and liked in the industry and is known to be a man of honesty and principles. He feels that Varun should make a debut in one of his movies, which he decides to call "Nagar Vadhu" (Prostitute), and hopes to cast a well-known Bollywood actress, Sakhi Swami, opposite Varun in the female lead role. The only problem is that Varun dislikes acting, but when Raj persuades him, he changes his mind, and agrees to act in this movie. Varun meets with Sakhi, and both are attracted to each other. This does not auger well with Raj and he puts a stop to the production immediately. It is then that Varun finds out that his principled father has been known to have an illicit relationship with Sakhi. How will this knowledge help him overcome the wall of mistrust that has now arisen between his dad, himself, and Sakhi.
The Story revolves around Johnny (Murali) and Annie (Madhavi), a married couple.Johnny is a recurrent alcoholic. After an altercation between Johnny and Keshavan (N F Varghese), who is humiliated in front of his family decides to take revenge and hurts one of their kid.During required blood transfusion it is discovered that Annie's is suffering from a late stage of Leukemia and that she only has a couple of months to live. Annie fearing her kids well being gives then up for better future through adoption.
Satyam (Nassar) is a driver and his wife Sarada (Madhavi) is a music teacher. They were both orphans brought up in the Seva Ashram (run by Charuhasan). Sarada and Satyam have four kids. Satyam, though good at heart, is addicted to liquor. Apparao (Tanikella Bharani), a toddy milk vendor, has an eye on Sarada. When Satyam discovers Apparao making advances on Sarada, he assaults him in front of everyone. Avenging the assault, Apparao kills Satyam. Sarada, who is diagnosed with cancer, wants her children to be brought up in a family atmosphere rather than in the Ashram and the children are adopted by different families.
Madhavi (Aparna) is rich enough to hire anybody. Madhavi hires babu Antony with his friend Zainuddin and two other friends. Madhavi want to get revenge against Soman and Rajan P. Dev, who earlier, arrested, made false evidence, put Madhavi in jail and also tortured her inside the jail for a new cocaine type drug formula.
Judge D.K. Sinha is an honest and hard-working man. He lives with his wife, and two sons, Rajkishan and Suresh. While he is confident that Rajkishan is honest and diligent, he is clearly disappointed with Suresh, who is not only dishonest, but has a violent temper, which gets him into trouble with the police. Imagine the shock the Sinha family gets when they come to know that Suresh has been arrested for murder, and the case has been assigned to Suresh's dad for disposal.
