Since 2010, Gaëlle Boucand, an artist and cineaste, has focused on making films that are a blend between contemporary art and contemporary cinema. She has directed among others GONE TO CROATAN (2010), in which she follows a community of ravers, along with the trilogy — JJA (2012), CHANGE OF SCENERY (2015) and J.A. (2020) — a kaleidoscopic portrait of a man whose life is caught up in the 20th century history. Her films have been shown throughout various international art institutions (Paris Museum of Modern Art, Kunsthalle Mannheim, MAST Bologne, Bethanien Berlin, Athens and Thessaloniki Museums of Contemporary Art…) and have won awards in FID Marseille, Hors Pistes Festival in Beaubourg and Coté Court in Pantin.
