During that summer, Bo (Mandy Tam), a cheerful and kind-hearted girl who lives on Fa Yuen Street in Mong Kok, meets Edward (Edward Chen), a wealthy young man with an estranged father, by chance. To retaliate against his father, Edward hires Bo and her friend Keung (Leung Chung Hang) to ruin his father’s wedding. Bo and Edward are increasingly drawn to each other and start dating. Falling head over heels in love, they think their love will last forever. Just as the couple think this is the love of a lifetime, life doesn’t always go the way they want……
Chung Ka-po, Lam Siu-mei and Lee Ching-yee are sisterly buddies. Due to different reasons after graduation, the trio gradually go their separate ways. A “doppelgangers” website has facilitated the connection between two complete strangers that look like identical twins. Law firm partner Ko Sau-shing tracks down his former lover Yu Fung, whom he has not contacted for ages, online, and Yu Fung is looking for a part-time boyfriend with a similar appearance to him. Sau-shing arbitrarily approaches applicant Mo Kei-nam, who is a dead ringer for him. The duo also covertly agree to swap identities for two weeks. Sau-shing plays the role of Yu Fung’s “substitute lover”, and deadbeat Kei-nam disguises himself as Sau-shing while simultaneously dealing with his wife Lee Chi-ying and father-in-law Lee Kwun-hang as each and every crisis at the law firm is handled by him. While the identity swapping deadline looms, this pair of lookalikes are eventually shocked to realize their mutual life trajectories are already different from their expectations.
Many people die as old-fashioned tenement Wai Lei Building abruptly collapses. Engineer Sze Kwong has conducted a survey of the building. To avoid implicating Cheung Man and Ka-chun, Sze Kwong decides not to recognize his sister and he also does not go out with Cheung Man. He just covertly watches over the duo.

You Ching-shui, lady boss of some nightlife venue, and a trio of unrelated fresh-faced ladies also keep clinging to Sai-lun. While Sai-lun is starting to venture into gangland, he and Ko Bun become amicable partners. And with absolute protection provided by formidable fighter Luk Chau, crises are overcome. But nobody is aware of some shocking scheme has been awaiting him behind the gang activities.
Urban legends, seemingly true yet seemingly fantastical, connect the past and future. While conducting research at Bride’s Pool, professor of folkloristics Poon Dor-lai experiences what appears to be paranormal encounters, but soon uncovers criminal exploits behind it. She teams up with journalist Fu Chi-pok to probe into the matter, unravelling the unknown background of bride-to-be Wong Yuk. The two decide to team up to continue work on Chi-pok's missing father's research paper on urban legends, but in the process, they discover many cases that bear similarity to the legends and they begin to suspect his disappearance.
